Being a holistic practitioner and helping people one on one is a fabulous job and I wouldn't trade it in for anything. But when I hit 50 years old something happened. I felt a strong need to contribute to the profession and the world. ESM is giving me the opportunity to do both at the same time. By helping other practitioners to understand world concerns, (and learning from them concomitantly) I can have an impact on the bigger picture and what this planet faces in the years to come.

Just what the world's problems are and prioritizing it's needs, ESM is helping me to define. Without a full understanding of the full scope of the problem I might invest energies haphazardly. Furthermore, the best methods to use to promote a more sustainable solution to problems is an area I know little about and need help with.

I have been a classical homeopath and chiropractor for 27 years as well as utilizing whole food nutrition in my practice. Essentially I practice old fashion medicine. My nutritional protocols are 75 years old and have been field tested for that long. My favored chiropractic technique is 100 years old and the homeopathy I practice has changed little in 200 years. Both the chiropractic technique and the homeopathic school of thought I utilize have the vast majority of each profession's practitioners using these ways and this gives me comfort knowing that a large body of clinical verification exists for these modalities. Going back to older ways has a 'sustainable' wisdom built into it for me and fits my present view of ESM.

So I am here, in ESM, to learn and soon to manifest change.
