Call for Articles!
Symbiosis is a quarterly journal concerned with a broad range of issues about health care and the environment. Symbiosis explores ecological principles of healing and medicine that support a healthy relationship with the living earth. Our audience is health professionals, academic institutions and libraries, students, and an educated general public.

FALL 2008: Pediatric Environmental Health
Submission deadline: September 1, 2008
Articles we are currently accepting include:
- Feature Stories - These articles typically provide the context for the journal in regards to theme, theory, and practice. The story strives to connect the chosen theme to the greater web of life and demonstrates the cyclic relationship between the health care system and the environment, or personal and planetary health. (2000-3000 words)
- Shorter Features – See Feature (1000-2000 words)
- Book Reviews: We review books that relate to the current theme of Symbiosis (650 words)
We offer $150-250 for feature stories; $100-$150 for shorter features; $50 for book reviews.
We welcome article submissions on these topics that are timely, well-written, and insightful. Include your name, affiliations, brief bio, photo (optional, used for story), and pertinent contact information.
