Health Care Leaders Get Green Certified!

This Earth Day we are celebrating leaders in sustainable medicine who are making the planet a healthier place one health care office at a time.

It’s only been 5 months since Teleosis completed the 2006 Green Health Care pilot program, and the leaders in sustainable medicine are still going strong! Last December, Teleosis had the honor of graduating twenty-two health professionals at the Bay Area Green Health Care Awards. These graduates showed dedication and mastery of sustainable health care practices. Since then, 10 Green Health Care leaders have been certified by the Bay Area Green Business Program. We want to congratulate each of you for your commitment to your health and the health of the environment. Congratulations for your well deserved efforts!

The Bay Area Green Business Program represents a successful partnership of environmental agencies, professional associations or individuals and utilities who are working together to recognize and promote businesses and government agencies that volunteer to operate in a more environmentally responsible way. Over 625 businesses and public agencies have been certified since 1996. Through the Green Health Care Program, Teleosis has developed a strong partnership with the Green Business Program, and serves as one of the experts on sustainable health care practices for the Bay Area.
