Medicine for a Healthy PlanetAn introduction to Ecological Medicine from an individual, local, and world view. Schedule: Wednesday, March 15th 7:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Event details: This session, taught by Bea Agins, Traditional Naturopath and Dr. Joel Kreisberg, DC, CCH, focuses on raising awareness about the correlation between medicine, medical practitioners, and the health of the planet. Participants will gain and understanding of personal ecology, learn about sustainable medicine, and explore the interrelationship between our healing practices and the global environment. Short Bio about Dr. Kreisberg, DC, CCH Dr. Kreisberg serves as the founder and executive director of the Teleosis Institute a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating health professionals about the principles of Ecologically Sustainable Medicine. Currently adjunct faculty member at JFK University's Masters Program in Holistic Health Education, Dr. Kreisberg completed his Bachelors of Arts at Wesleyan University, and his Doctor of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College. He is an Associate of the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy and the Bengal-Allen Institute in Calcutta, India. He is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Integral Ecology at Prescott College. Author of several books on Homeopathy, Dr. Kreisberg has been teaching for over twenty years.
