Medicine
Medicine in the United States is in need of help. The US spends nearly double the Great Britain per capita, spending over 16% of the US GDP in 2006 and predictions by the 2012 are %20 by the year 2012. Yet by most health indicators, the US trails most of the thirty richest countries.

Though Americans are living longer, they are fatter, more unhappy and continue to require more and more medicine. Seniors in America are average 5 medicines daily and over %40 of children require daily medicines as well. Most agencies responsible for medicine and health care in the US are aware of this, but the fix is not easy.

Integral Methodological Pluralism
An opportunity for a new model of health care is emerging based on the work of Ken Wilber and the leaders at the Integral Institute.

Ken Wilber’s system of Integral Methodological Pluralism (IMP) also called AQAL offers a model with the potential to integrate all of the current streams of medicine and health care practiced throughout the world.
