Green Pharmacy Program Preliminary Data Report
Data Shows 40-50% of Prescriptions Go Unused

On June 1st, 2007, Teleosis Institute launched the Green Pharmacy Program, a pilot program in Northern California offering free and environmentally safe disposal of unused and expired medications. As of April 1, 2008, Teleosis has collected over 1000 pounds of unwanted pharmaceuticals.
