Sustainability a Must for the Future Finds UN Sponsored Study

According to the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, a United Nations-sponsored study, our only viable option for a bright future is to actively find sustainability.

The findings show that past and present human activities are rapidly degrading 60% of the Earth’s mechanisms. Consequently, humans have contributed to the degradation of 20% of the world’s coral reefs and 40% of the global rivers. Shifts like this and other climatic changes could result in future outbreaks of disease.

On the bright side, The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment has determined it is not too late. By actively engaging in sustainable activities and practices we can ensure a bright and happy future for our children.
