Healthy Planet, Healthy People Health Fair - Speakers - Discussion Group Kick off the new year by being kind to yourselves AND the environment! Join us for an inspiring evening on 'greening' your life - practical solutions that make the biggest difference in quality of life for you, your family, and the larger world in which we live. Learn about healthy products for personal care, health care practices that do no harm to you OR the environment, and lifestyle choices that ensure sustainability for our fragile planet. The health of our people depends on the health of our planet! Schedule: Friday, Jan 27th Details: We will begin the evening from 6:00-7:30 with an educational wellness fair by many vendors of healthy products, along with nonprofits, for-profit sustainable businesses, and health care professionals of all disciplines. All participants support sustainable lifestyles that make the smallest negative impact on Mother Earth. Treat yourself to a free consultation with many of the healthcare professionals. Nutritionally balanced, delicious food will also be available for purchase at reasonable prices. Five locally noteworthy speakers will be talking about conscious nutrition, 'greening' medicine (including how to turn your medical or healthcare practice into an environmentally-friendly, healthier office), choosing personal care products, making optimal lifestyle choices, and selecting 'clean, green' energy alternatives & their significance to our environment. This portion of the program is from 7:30-10:00, including time to interact with speakers and fellow audience members.
