Introduction to the Buteyko Breathing MethodLearn how to heal yourself through balanced breathing techniques. With the help of daily Buteyko Breathing exercises, you can overcome some of the symptoms from: asthma, breathlessness, blocked nose, sinus problems, emphysema, hay fever, hypertension & angina, panic/anxiety disorders, sleep apnea, and snoring. Schedule: Thursday, February 2nd, 7:00 to 9:00 pm Event details: Join Teleosis member Dorisse Neale, RN on Thursday February 2, 2006 from 7-9pm as she introduces the Buteyko Breathing Method, pioneered in Russia in the 1950’s by Dr. Konstantin Buteyko. Participants will learn how the Buteyko Breathing Method is an effective technique that can teach individuals to normalize their breathing, correct the underlying causes of chronic illness and symptoms, strengthen their immune system, and alleviate the fear of not being able to breathe in asthmatics. This will be an informational talk for those considering attending the class series beginning in March, in Berkeley, as well as an experiential evening for those interested in optimal health through breathing, which is at the Heart and Foundation of Wellness; Breathing IS the Source. Dorisse Neale, RN – is a respiratory educator, wellness consultant, and teaches Remedial Breathing programs in Sebastopol, California. She is a recovering lifetime asthmatic who uses the Buteyko Method to teach people about reversing the devastating symptoms of asthma and other diseases, and to reestablish homeostasis, or internal balance in the body.
