Our goal is $6000 in 2017!
At Teleosis Institute, our commitment is to provide high quality education to any and all professionals seeking to serve others as health coaches. Regardless of economic status, race, color or gender preference, we feel that health coaching is an essential opportunity to relieve suffering for anyone. Our board and staff believe that the need for a diverse population of individuals need to be trained to better serve the communities in need in the United States and beyond. To do this, we provide financial assistance for tuition in our programs. Please consider a gift to help us help others.

Meet a Scholar: Njoroge Tho-Biaz
“Helping people has been my passion in life. It is a natural process to seek certification for what I have been doing already. I chose Narrative Health Coaching Certification from Teleosis due to the wisdom of the teachers and style of teaching. Story gathering has been a significant part of my healing practice. I continue to value engaging the story, and the program validates my use of story for healing. Within Teleosis, it has been a wonderful journey, learning how to present myself as a coach. The experienced instructors and fellow health coaches influence my coaching practice tremendously. Being able to apply my learning right away in my daily practice is a huge benefit. I enjoy my experience of online learning which requires efficiency and accountability in communication through technology. I am very satisfied with my development. I feel more prepared to launch my business in health coaching. I plan to replicate my learning experience creating workshops online with people all over the world”.
Njoroge Tho-Biaz is the CEO of Choice-Oasis Retreats, a consciousness research, coaching wellness, and publishing organization. In 2014, he was recognized as one of the “Santa Fe Living Treasures” for serving the community as a teacher, and as an 11-year stroke survivor.
Our Scholarships: Our Goal is $6000 by December 31, 2017.
We believe that Narrative Health Coaching must reach into communities that do not have the resources to pay for prevention and wellness care. At Teleosis, our commitment to diversity includes financial support for students who can offer our powerful coaching method to individuals in communities that lack access to the benefits that health coaching and narrative healing can bring. Our goal in 2016 is to raise $6000 to provide financial assistance to a minimum of four students. Please help us train health coaches who will reach beyond conventional health settings. Your gift will help hundreds of clients better reach their healing potential.
Sustaining Future of Health Coaching Online
Our free monthly online conversations offer tools and perspectives to inform health coaches and health professionals working with Narrative Health Coaching and Narrative Healing. We’re not alone in our beliefs in the value of a free community space. We’ve attracted leaders in their fields who are eager to contribute. Teachers such as Robert Kegan, PhD, Meg Jordan, PhD, and Lewis Mehl-Madrona, MD continue to contribute. Ongoing psychological development, integrative wellness, narrative medicine are all necessary for meeting the demands of modern life. Read more about our other generous guests, and tune into our March 2017 conversation, “Using Coaching at End of Life: A Conversation with Dr. Don Eisenhauer, PCC”.
With your support we can continue to give back to our growing community through our Future of Health Coaching Online program. While we have the best in their fields presenting with us on various topics that pertain to the coaching community, we still need your help with keeping the program free. Future of Health Coaching Online requires staff, web-hosting, conferencing programs and marketing materials, and we rely on your help to sustain it.
When you donate $100 or more we’ll send you a copy of Coaching and Healing: Transcending the Illness Narrative, written by Joel Kreisberg, Reggie Marra, Lois MacNaugton and seven of our Integral Coaching® colleagues.
“The book Coaching and Healing pioneers a new area of research and practice, namely, the application of Integral Coaching to the process of healing. It’s a natural match in many ways, and yet remains sadly under-applied at this time. Coaching and Healing aims to redress that lack by directly approaching the topic through the lens of Integral Theory and Integral Coaching itself.”
-Ken Wilber, author of Integral Spirituality and Grace and Grit
