Directions to the Teleosis Institute

AC Transit

Local Bus 9 has a drop off at 6th and Cedar. This bus originates from the Claremont Hotel and runs along Ashby and from the University, where it runs along Gilman to 6th and Cedar. This route has busses stopping every 7-10 minutes. The fare is $1.50 for adults and $0.75 for youth under 18 years old. A local bus-to-bus transfer will cost $0.25.

For those of you coming from San Francisco, the “Z” Reverse Commuter bus also drops off at the corner of 6th and Cedar. The first bus out of San Francisco Transbay Terminal departs at 6:55am with other departures appox. every ½ hour until 8:30am. In the evening the Z line has four departure times: 4:30, 5:00, 5:30 and 6:15. The cost for this line is $3.00 each way and the ride takes about 30 minutes.

BART

We are about a mile from the North Berkeley BART station (near Cedar & Sacramento Streets), only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride down Cedar Street. Then turn right on 5th Street, we are the second building on the right, in the upstairs unit at 1521B 5th Street.

From Interstate 80, South

Take 80E toward Berkeley and exit at University Avenue. Follow University to the first light and turn left on 6th Street. Travel down 6th Street to the third light which is Cedar Street and turn left. Go one block to 5th Street and turn right. The Teleosis Institute is the second building on the right, in the upstairs unit at 1521B 5th Street.
