Becoming a Certified Coach

Why Get Certified?

Certification is key for setting professional standards of practice. We recommend all our students to become certified. This process allows you to showcase professional competence, endorse a formal code of ethics, and receive continuing education.

Getting Certified

The Certificate Program in Narrative Health Coaching (CPNHC) is designed to prepare coaches for successful certification by two different coaching associations– the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching (ICHWC).

Currently, the program has been approved by the National Consortium for the Credentialing of Health and Wellness Coaches (NCCHWC).
